Control multiple radio systems and radar systems with one small device

The innovative ACM9433 series Communications Management products deliver small form-factor yet full featured control for managing multiple radios, TACAN, transponders, and other avionics and mission systems. This software definable control head utilizes a 3.9″ LCD display and communications management unit (CMU) button/knob user interface to efficiently consolidate pilot control of numerous systems into a single control head. The ACM9433 is fully capable for communications with law enforcement and civil frequencies, such as VHF and maritime. For military aircraft, the ACM9433 is compatible with SATCOM, DAMA, UHF and more, and is capable of supporting numerous radios, transponders and other systems through a software control licensing fee, simplifying logistics and integration efforts. There is also a drop-in replacement option for the ARC-210 C-12719 designed with data ports prepared for technology expansion, supporting future growth.

The ACM9433 provides a common user interface for a broad range of popular cockpit radios in a slim half-height profile, ideal when cockpit space is at a premium. For larger models, see the ACM9443 or the ACM9454.

WIDE MODE

The active radio tuning details are shown on the left with information such as radio frequencies, waveform, and preset description. The standby radio tuning appears on the right, showing similar information plus crypto key selection when applicable. The middle of the display shows instantaneous transmit and receive status of the radio.

PRESETS

Load up to 999 frequencies into the preset list for use with any attached radio. These presets can be set to standby where they can then be swapped into active selection.

NARROW MODE

Active and standby radio tuning information appears on the left while a scrollable preset list or other CMU app features are shown on the right.

INTEGRATION

Software defined control allows integrators to add new capabilities to platforms without installing additional control heads. Field maintainable device control licenses can be installed at any time in any location. Embedded high-speed SBAS GPS and local DAFIF worldwide database can also be leveraged to provide supplemental navigation and timing data to components that require this data to operate.
