IF-to-IF converter enabling mission-to-mission optimization

Move beyond IF limitations and microwave tuner output crossing two digitizer's Nyquist zones. With the IFAT family of IF-to-IF converters users can create new IFs as high as 8GHz and transform the bandwidth to provide your digitizer exactly what it requires.

Accomplishing the task of providing a fully agile IF proves to be challenging for many. Ordinary frequency conversion schemes and simplistic bandwidth transformations create a host of artifacts that severely degrade the RF signals being processed.

To counter these limitations, the IFAT family of converters includes a proprietary engine for in-line frequency translation and bandwidth conversion without the degradations normally expected by such converters. As a result, you can:

  • Tune to any upstream frequency, up to 8GHz
  • Tune to any downstream frequency, up to 8GHz
  • Select from a wide range of bandwidths
  • Low phase noise and low spurious
