DC to 8 GHz Bi-directional Bypassable Amplifier
AM1073 is a high dynamic range bidirectional and bypassable DC-coupled amplifier with a bandwidth of 8 GHz. The device is unconditionally stable and exhibits a low bypass mode insertion loss. The AM1073 performs well down to DC, and its low frequency performance is limited only by the frequency response of the input and output bias tees present in the application circuit. With internal 50Ω matching and packaged in a 4mm QFN, the AM1073 represents a dramatic size reduction over an equivalent discrete implementation.
Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. AM1073 evaluation board also includes DIP switch for control of bypass functions. This switch is included with the evaluation board unless otherwise requested. Evaluation board includes AM1073.
The AM1073 is part of Mercury’s catalog of bypassable amplifiers ranging from DC to 26.5 GHz. In this family there is the AM1065 that covers DC to 8 GHz with higher gain, the AM1081 that covers DC to 8 GHz with high P1dB and IP3, the AM1067 that covers 5 GHz to 20 GHz, and the AM1075 that covers 5 GHz to 26.5 GHz. In addition to these the AM1077 offers a bypassable amplifier with an isolation state covering 5 GHz to 20 GHz.
