Broadband Gain Equalizing Amplifier

AM1110 is a wideband gain equalizing amplifier servicing the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range. The device exhibits low gain at the lower frequencies ascending to moderate gain at the higher frequencies. The increasing gain across frequency makes the AM1110 an ideal solution to equalize gain/insertion loss across an RF system without the need of an extra equalizer saving valuable space and BOM costs. Packaged in a 3mm QFN with internal 50Ω matching while drawing less than 220mW of power, the AM1110 is perfectly suited for low SWaP applications.

The AM1110 is one in a family of gain equalizing amplifiers, covering the 2 GHz to 18 GHz frequency range with variable slope and gain parameters. This family of parts is pin compatible with each other allowing swapping of the amplifiers to optimize system performance when needing more or less gain versus frequency. This family of gain equalizing amplifiers includes the AM1113 and AM1114.

AM1110-D is available only in Gel-Paks of QTY 25. Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. Evaluation board includes AM1110. Module includes field replaceable SMA input and output connectors. Module also includes two pins for voltage input through a feed-through capacitor and a corresponding ground connection. Module includes four mounting holes sized 4-40 that are threaded from the bottom side of the module.
