AM1164-2 DC to 8 GHz Low Noise MMIC Amplifier

DC to 8 GHz Miniature Low Noise Amplifier

The AM1164-2 is a high dynamic range amplifier covering up to to 8 GHz. The device exhibits a moderate positive gain-slope, providing frequency equalization useful in many broadband applications. AM1164 provides similar performance to the AM1064 with the benefit of improved low frequency NF. With internal 50Ω matching and packaged in a 1.3mm x 2mm DFN the AM1164-2 represents a compact total PCB footprint.

Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. Evaluation board includes AM1164-1 and AM1164-2.

The AM1164 is also available in a 3mm QFN form factor as the AM1164-1.

Module includes field replaceable SMA input and output connectors. Module also includes two pins for voltage input through a feed-through capacitor and a corresponding ground connection. Module includes four mounting holes sized 4-40 that are threaded from the bottom side of the module.
