DC to 18 GHz Reflective SPDT
AM6012 is a reflective single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch covering the DC to 18 GHz frequency range and was designed for use in a wide range of wireless applications.
The AM6012 provides low insertion loss, a flat frequency response, high linearity, high isolation, and fast switching speed making this switch ideal for high frequency low power transmit/receive applications. The AM6012 requires only a single positive supply and a single positive control voltage to switch the two paths between a low loss thru path or a high isolation state. With an operating temperature range of -40C to +85C, internal 50Ω matching, internal decoder circuitry, and low current draw all packaged in a 3mm QFN, the AM6012 represents a compact total PCB footprint with minimal size, weight, and power (low SWaP).
Evaluation board includes SMA input and output connectors and SMA voltage input unless otherwise requested. AM6012 evaluation board also includes DIP switch for control of the switch settings. This switch is included with the evaluation board unless otherwise requested. Evaluation board includes AM6012.
Module includes field replaceable SMA Type K (2.9) input and output connectors in a rugged aluminum enclosure. Module also includes two input pins for DC module power and DC module control through a feed-through capacitor and a corresponding ground pin connection. Module includes four mounting holes sized 4-40 that are threaded fully through from the bottom side of the module. AM6012-M has been configured for operation from 160 kHz to 18 GHz and is internally DC blocked.
