Coherent, Modular Systems

Through the adoption of open architectures, such as OpenVPX™, Mercury Systems provides rapid integration of multiple RF, mixed-signal, and processing modules into high-performance, coherent systems. In order to reduce cost and lead time, these systems consist primarily of Mercury’s catalog OpenVPX products as well as third-party COTs hardware as needed. For programs with specific environmental or electrical needs, customized transceiver and processing modules are available.

This technology is ideal for both direct digitization and microwave frequency conversion applications. Systems can be configured as multichannel transmitters, receivers, or transceivers. For coherent systems, Mercury applies proprietary phase-matching technology. FPGA and other processing modules support real-time processing for applications such as electronic warfare, signal intelligence, spectrum management, direction finding, beam forming and communication. Our modular systems provide:

OPEN SYSTEM ARCHITECTURES

Accelerate Technology Adoption from RF to Digital

The pace of today's technology development means the traditional approach of custom-designed components, modules and subsystems is too slow. By adopting a modular open systems architecture approach (MOSA), we deliver the latest capabilities at the speed of relevance.
